That is not an essential oil she is making, it's an infused oil. EOs are made via steam distillation. Infused oils are made as she's showing, but typically in a wide-mouth jar for ease of removal. Also, infused oils can 'grow' bacteria if not carefully decanted off. In the video, she doesn't cover the leaves with the oil, and the exposed leaves would rot.

All in all, a very amateurish video, full of bad info.
